 JCB Performance Catch Cans are designed to capture
transmission fluid. When pressures in the transmission rise too high,
fluid is released from the tranny's vent (this is usually apparent while
using transbrakes). This product captures that fluid, preventing it from
going on the track and allows the captured fluid to return to the
transmission once the pressure has returned to normal.. The tank will
continue to vent the transmission which helps the transmission to
maintain its proper fluid level.
The Cans are machined from a solid bar of 6061 aluminum. You have the option of a quick disconnect inlet fitting that includes a line and an 1/8"NPT elbow for the transmission side, or a -4 male inlet fitting (line sold separately). They are available in standard machined aluminum finish or black anodize. |
